layering one synth with multiple audio tracks [SOLVED]

I am trying to think of the best/easiest way to accomplish this task.:

-I have one bass synth.

-I want to layer it.

-I want to do this by having one synth with midi input feeding three different audio tracks with the same sound so i can apply separate processing on each

-I want them to be all combined on the same aux for group compression

… So what I did was send the synth sound to a bus, then I created a 3 new audio track with that bus at the input. This sort of worked.. but.. I had to hit ‘I’ input monitoring for the tracks. and i could not apply processing to the original synth, because it is feeding the audio tracks and that processing would be applied to all the subsequent tracks… So i was basically ‘stuck’ with using 1 100% dry sound. I could apply the same sound to 3 different aux busses, but i prefer to work with audio tracks instead… the other let down I had is that in to combine the three processed sounds together and have group compression I had to create another aux to be recombined with the three audio tracks and the aux that has the original synth input…

Is there a simpler way?

Whoa.. what version of logic is that!?

ya. i just get confused when there are too many aux’s that is why..

I see you have ‘bus 10’ there.. for me logic will create an aux every time i route to a bus… I don’t see an aux for your bus 10 there.. did you delete it?

It's Logic 9 with some of its graphics modded:

L9 - GUi customization, minor changes

for me logic will create an aux every time i route to a bus

That's the normal behavior..

Yes...and the one for bus 20 too.
