Question about reformatting my computer and Logic

Let's say on a track I used a 3rd party plug (effectrix) and a bunch of automation. When I reinstall Logic and the plug in will it all still be there, or would I have to do it over? What about if the third party plug that I reinstall is an updated version?

Typically it will be fine...

 

There are only few exceptions.. I've come across.. mainly NI stuff... Like using Kontakt 4 and then 5.. or Guitar Rig 4 before.. and then v5 later...... That can be a pain to deal with.. but normally, no.. you should be fine.
