Can't Save Custom EXS Instruments

Hi Guys, would really appreciate any help solving this issue:

 

Basically, I have a bunch of custom EXS instruments that I want to be able to recall for use in any project (and would like to have my EQ and Compressor in my channel strip there when I load it as well). I Save Channel Strip Setting As, the way I do for any of my soft synths, but when I try to load these instruments in another project I get the message "EXS24 Instrument ____" cannot be found. Anyone know what's up?

 

I tried saving them as performances too, but no luck. Thanks in advance!

You can use the Export Sampler Instrument and Sampler Files in the EXS Editor.
