Midi Sequencer/Playback on an IPad

You probably wouldn't believe that I am still using a Powerbook 3400 with Vision for solo piano gigs with bass and drums on the computer feeding a Kawai Gmega sound module.

 

While I still like the GMega's fretless bass and brush drums, I think it is time to join the 21st century.

 

I like tablet computers but I'm not married to the idea. I need something that will simply playback or record a few midi tracks. If it can handle built in sounds great. If I have to interface with a module, that's fine too.

 

Is it going to be possible to find reliable midi sequencing on an Ipad or should I start shopping for a new laptop.
