somedude23 Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 I have a Motif XF6 hooked up to Logic Pro 9. Everything is working well, when I record Logic recognizes the audio and midi data being sent to it which I can hear. However, when i record the midi data I am unable to hear the audio upon playback. David Nahmani Posted December 28, 2012 Share Posted December 28, 2012 How do you record the MIDI data: on what type of track, and what is the track routed to? Normally you should be creating a new external MIDI track and select the destination (your MOTIF if connected directly to your Mac through USB, or the MIDI interface's output port where the MOTIF is connected) from the Library. You should connect your headphones to the headphones output of your MOTIF to check from proper MIDI routing before you worry about audio connections.
