recording numark ns7 to logic pro issues

I have an audio interface that i am plugging the output of my dj controller into, however the issue is when running logic to record mixes, the controls on the DJ controller adjust parameters in logic. (faders adjusting volumes in logic ect)

 

I cant seem to find the numark ns7 in any of my midi preferences in logic anywhere and its impossible to record scratching when the fader is turning the track volume up and down in logic.

To temporarily disable the controlling of faders you could go to your project, click on the Settings button in your toolbar then MIDI, Input Filter, and select Control Changes.
