Axiom pro 49 first time set up

Good evening..

 

I have bought a axiom pro today and not sure exactly how to set it up or which is the best way to set it up (due to the different videos I have seen it seems to be more then 1 ), Iv seen a number of different videos about this and tryed to follow the instructions that came in the box....I'm running it on logic 9 running snow leopard OS, would you say the best way is to download sumthin from the m audio website and do it that way?? Help wud be much appreciated by any1 with experience.

It depends what you would like to control with it. It's triggering your sounds, right? For the most part, it is pretty much plug n play when I copped mine. If you would like to use your sliders to control the levels on your mixer, there is some great tutorials on youtube on how to do it. You just have to see what helps with your workflow from using it. The main thing I suggest is to save your template in logic, once you get everything to sync up with your Axiom. It will save a lot of time.
