space
In the score editor can you change the ticks of a note? I've tried dragging slowly, I've tried using Shift and Ctrl (doing this works in the piano roll) but it doesn't seem to work? Say for example, the note reads as 1 1 1 175, is there a way to get it to 1 1 1 1, without changing the anything else apart from the ticks? Thanks again
Eriksimon
I'd just use the Event List (E), which is much more suitable for those sort of 'numerical' edits.
duggan
I agree, the event list is a great place to do this. I'll add that if you will be doing a bunch of edits in various regions you'll want to be sure to put the event list in Content Link mode opposed to Same Level Link or No link. It's the button at the top of the event list next to catch playhead and midi in/out… Or at least play with the three settings so you end up with a link setting that doesn't frustrate you! David Nahmani
There are also "Nudge Event Position by Tick" key commands. Or you could use the event float (Options > Event Float).
