joegold
I've got a number of writing/scoring projects that only use the Mac's internal Quicktime Synth to play back MIDI parts. When opened, these projects still show the Quicktime Synth in the environment but there is no sound coming out of the computer. Also, if I delete the Quicktime synth object from the environment and try to add it back again using the New menu, under the Internal tab the only option is Rewire. I.e. The internal Quicktime synth isn't even available anymore to select. Is there something missing from my system? I'm on 9.1.8. Has the Quicktime synth been removed? Any insights appreciated. shivermetimbers
I don't think it is available in 64 bit mode because of the Quicktime. you can find it in the 32 bit Logic.
joegold
Ah. Thanks. I just switched over to 64 bit recently although I really have no need to. Guess I'll switch back now.
