MWE
Hi, Is there a convenient way to play only the selected notes in the piano roll. I.e. In a midi arrangement involving multiple instrument sections I would like to balance the instruments in just a single section by adjusting the note velocity of those instruments involved. So after selecting a number of regions in the arrange, the piano roll shows each of the events. If I then press a note event and have midi out enabled I hear a single note regardless of how many selected. I would like to hear all events in the piano roll playing at that time. Any convenient (preferably not leaving the piano roll/using track mute/solo) is greatly appreciated. Thx
David Nahmani
In the piano roll, first press Shift-I (Invert Selection) then press M (Mute). If you don't mess with the selection then you'll just have to press M again to unmute. If you mess with the selection, then first press Command-A (Select All) then M to unmute.
