Arturia Spark, NI Maschine and such with Logic?

Recommended Posts

I am interested in adding a hardware/software electronic drum package to my set up. Because I have never used any other sequencer or daw in conjunction with Logic, I have no experience with how it works or it's stability. Admittedly, part of what is driving this is my lack of ability to see the GUI in Ultrabeat clearly. But also drawn to the other features of Spark and Maschine including the sound libraries and step sequencing.

Could anyone offer opinions on this subject? Or your alternatives to Ultrabeat?

Thank you.

Sequencing with Maschine within Logic is... troublesome, for me. I'm not particularly fond of it. Perhaps the workflow works for others.

I do, however, use Maschine library samples all of the time, either by dragging them into an empty Ultrabeat/EXS24 bank, or by simply giving them their own independent audio tracks.
