frankfoks
I've just upgraded my iMac from 4gb to 8gb internal memory. With this upgrade I was hoping to get rid of the noise that my speakers give me in heavy projects. I'm working with the following: - iMac 8GB 1067 MHz - Tascam US-1641 interface (16x4 96k/24-bit USB 2.0 Audio/MIDI interface) - KRK Rokit RPG2 '5' Speakers (connected to my interface) Does anybody know how to get rid of the noise that I get in heavy projects within Logic? It's a cracking noise that gets worse the more layers are playing in Logic Pro. I hope to get some help, since I make a living as songwriter I have to be able to work without problems. Thanks in advance!

David Nahmani
Do you hear noise when the project is stopped or only during playback? Did you start soloing tracks or groups of tracks to determine the source of the noise?
