Jimi-Dharma
I'm unable to make my flex anchors on an acoustic guitar track snap to the grid. I've always been able to do this before and now all of the sudden it's as if it refuses. Thanks for any advice!
triplets
It's reacting like that because of the beat mapping. Have you tried quantizing the region? On the top left parameter box your quantize is off. Can you flex the original file to have a fixed tempo? This makes flexing simpler.
Jimi-Dharma
I can indeed quantize it to my grid like you say, but it doesn't always grab the proper transient, and many of these are strums which lead in before the downbeats, so I only want to flex certain ones. I have tried deleting my mapped beats, doesn't change anything. Is there a quick way, IYO to convert this to a fixed tempo? Other than re-recording? Thanks! Jordi Torres
Do the following: Select your files and... Options > Tempo > Remove Tempo Information from Audio File in the main menu bar. This will remove the tempo info that was embedded in the files when you recorded them (the original project tempo) Then... Options > Tempo > Export Tempo Information to Audio File in the main menu bar. This will export the tempo changes that resulted from beat mapping to the files. This should make flex work properly. J.
