strikingtwice
I got touch OSC last night, fired up logic on my wife's laptop, and it set up with absolutely no problem. I came downstairs my Mac Pro, I went to the control set up page, and I get this weird message when i hit "Scan" I was also trying to set it up on the iPad. I get the same exact message on the phone and the iPad. The only difference I can think of, is that my Mac Pro is connected to the Internet via ethernet. It is still, on the network via airport. Each of these touch OSC devices sees my pro in the discovery page. Any input is greatly appreciated. I don't have osculater yet. I'm not actually even sure that that's a necessary step yet. I'm new to all OSC stuff, so any help is appreciated. After looking through the network tab, i can see that it's automatically pulling the ip from my ethernet connection and not through the wireless. Kinda stuck here.
JT3_Jon
I know this isn't a solution, but hopefully it will help to know that I have successfully used touch OSC without an airport card in my mac pro. I have a dedicated airport network thats connected via ethernet to my mac pro. So it DOES work with your mac pro connected via ethernet and your ipad connected via wireless to the same network. For me it was simply a matter of having them both connected to the same network, turning on OSC on the ipad FIRST and then launching logic pro. If I remember any other steps I'll make sure to post them, but I'm pretty sure this is all I did.
