Volume/panning levels levels change with midi

Hello,

Trying to track and give a midi reference track to my singer panned hard left. I'm also trying to give him all the the other choral midi parts panned hard right. I set all my levels to do this and am in good shape. Then when I play the track back to listen, all levels revert to the old settings. (levels prior to my changing the panning and volumes)

 

Any quick help would be greatly appreciated.

You could have some form of volume/pan automation on the track. Click the automation button in your toolbar to see track automation, OR select the region and open the event list to see if there are any volume and/or pan events.
