Previous Takes Not Muting When Cycle Recording Midi

Hello,

 

I can't get the previous midi takes to mute while recording in cycle mode. I have chosen the Create Take Folders option in recording preferences, but it seems to mute them some of the time, but not always. Is this a bug?

 

My machine is an iMac running Snow Leopard, software is Logic Pro 9, updated today.

I've never had (or heard of) that problem. The "create take folders" setting should ALWAYS mute the previous recording when the playhead returns to the beginning of the cycle to start a new pass.

 

Can you post a screenshot of your Arrange area while recording and experiencing the problem (Command-Shift-4-drag around the area to capture then use "Upload attachment" at the bottom of the post box to attach the file to your post).
