au instrument problem [SOLVED]

I am a new user and cannot get my ssd4 drum kit to used as tracks. When I try to assign a plugin, I do not see " au instruments" on the the plugin window initial list. see screen shot.

 

Please help.

You're clicking on your insert effect slots. You need to click the instrument slot (below where it says "I/O" in the channel strip). In other words, click where the EVP88 is.

You're welcome. You're not supposed to get a window, you should get a menu. Click and hold a bit.
