rjawad001
i'm wondering if someone can tell me how to restrict all midi data received by logic to channel 1, so that logic ignores any data sent on any other channel. i have a problem with one of my controllers and think this will fix it. thanks. rjawad001
perfect! that fixes my problem. thank you. a follow-up question: i have all these recorded midi regions which have (redundant) input on multiple channels. is there a way to delete all the data on channels other than channel 1? rjawad001
yes! perfect. no more problems editing the sustain pedal (that was my problem. sustain pedal was sending over 4 channels. i think it was some weird behavior of my particular digital piano. when i went to edit the pedal data in the piano roll, it would only select those on channel 1. once i got rid of the data on other channels, it now works as it should). thanks a lot for the help.
