StephenPisanchyn
Hey there...can someone help me figure out how to get my pedal to hold the length of a note? I was told all I need to do is plug it in, but i can't seem to figure out it works. All I need is for it to work like a pedal on the piano. Thanks! David Nahmani
Hello Stephen and welcome to Logic Pro Help. If it's a sustain pedal, then all you need to do is plug it in. What pedal? What MIDI keyboard are you using? What version of Logic, etc...? ---> Please add your Logic version and system info to your signature: Forum Rules - please READ THIS before posting (#5)

David Nahmani
Can you please add that info and all the info requested in our rules in your signature? Thank you! So have you tried that pedal, and it doesn't work?
StephenPisanchyn
This is true. I have tried it and it doesn't seem to read it.
David Nahmani
Look at the MIDI in display in your transport area. Does it display anything at all when you press/depress the pedal? If not, then you want to look into your keystation regarding how to set up the sustain pedal so it sends the standard sustain events.
