mousetrapkids
Hello, Does anyone know if you can program the Es2 to always glide up to your target note from an octave below? similarly, is there a way to get maximum control over pitch bendy synths sounds in general? Thanks!
Jope
You surely can do this. For the glide you described you would use an envelope and route it to the oscillators' pitch. I highly recommend reading the manual for details and what else can be done to control pitch or other parameters - the ES2 is a very versatile synthesizer. RedBaron
Or you could just send a 0 velocity (silent) note an octave below just before the note you want to glide up to. Seems to work for me. : D
David Nahmani
Here's an example: the only router is the one that makes the pitch glide one octave to your target note: I used Env1 routed to the pitch of the oscillators, but you could use other methods depending on the exact effect you want. I also attached the Logic file: ES2-glide.logic.zip
mousetrapkids
Thank you! I know this is really late but that was really helpful. I just needed to dragg the triangle down not up.
