stikygum
I haven't been using Logic that much in the last year, but I'm now using it more. One thing that I never looked in to is when I'm recording audio on 1 track, it will sometimes make mutliple lines or takes of 1 single track's audio with like 3 seperate audio files on each. Some will be light greyed out. I'm guessing this is for the purpose of doing multiple takes and choosing the best one, but I'm not sure how to handle them or where in the manual it talks about this. What is the purpose of these lines and how do you get rid of them?
David Nahmani
That's called a take folder, and you can use it to quick swipe a composite take made out of the best bits you swipe (by dragging the pointer) in each take. See Editing Audio Takes.
