tristancalvaire
Admins- is this the right section for an ad / are ads allowed? Hello, everybody! I live near Hartford in the US state of Connecticut; and am looking to sell my Roland GAIA SH-01 locally. However, if there is interest, I may list the item on ebay and adjust the price for shipment expenses. The advert for the synth can be viewed here- http://hartford.craigslist.org/msg/3877199927.html Here for sale is the beautiful Roland Gaia SH-01! Asking price: $400 The synthesizer is in perfect condition, and from a non-smoking household. The keyboard has been updated to the latest firmware (Version 1.04) and restored to the factory default settings. The stock US power adapter will be included in your purchase. Roland's SH-01 is a fantastic synthesizer. Up to three timbres with independent filters and modulation control can be active at a time, which allows for gigantic pads, soundscapes and arpeggios. Each timbre can have one of seven oscillator types; including noise and Roland's famous supersaw oscillator. For each oscillator type, there are three variations to the waveform that can be selected. Four filter modes are available for each timbre; as well as a convenient filter bypass option. The onboard effects are superb- I am especially fond of the in-built distortion algorithms, many of which are reminiscent of various guitar pedals. The phase-based effects can widen your sound drastically, and I prefer the in-built delays and reverbs to those of my DAWs. For live performance, the Gaia offers multiple arpeggiator patterns, as well as a pattern sequencer to record your own note sequences into. The Gaia also includes built in General MIDI drums and other instruments, which can be controlled by an external MIDI controller via sequencing MIDI data to a different channel. This feature can be disabled for setups where you'd only like the Gaia to trigger on one channel. The unit can also be battery powered, and has MIDI IN/OUT, USB MIDI and V-link support. For more information on the synthesizer, please visit Roland's official site: http://www.rolandus.com/products/details/1074 This synth has been one of my favorites and it is a shame that I'll have to part with it. The keyboard is being sold due to space limitations at a future dorm. Thank you for your interest, and feel free to message me with any questions!
