SideBMusic
Sometimes I forget to name a track and the recorded regions are named Audio 1, Audio 2, etc. But renaming the region does not rename the folder that is created along with it in the Bin. I have to click on each folder and rename them also. Another strange occurrence is sometimes my recorded regions are named after the name of the project file. Why does that happen? I need to learn more about managing the audio files and region names in my projects. Where can I find that?
David Nahmani
Sometimes I forget to name a track and the recorded regions are named Audio 1, Audio 2, etc. But renaming the region does not rename the folder that is created along with it in the Bin. I have to click on each folder and rename them also. That's expected behavior: you're renaming a Region in the Arrange area, it does not rename your Audio File in the Bin (nor should it). Another strange occurrence is sometimes my recorded regions are named after the name of the project file. Why does that happen? Audio files you record take on the name of the project unless you've renamed the track they're recorded in on, in which case they take on the name of the track where the audio region is recorded. I need to learn more about managing the audio files and region names in my projects. Where can I find that? Here's an intro to the subject in the manual: Understanding the Basics of Projects and Regions.
