nedhallett2
hello I am using an arduino leonardo which is basically a computer board that you can wire sensors and led's act to. one of the functions is that it can send key presses or to a computer. I want to use it to play samples in logic but logic doesn't seem to recognise the key presses correctly. for instance when I have the capslock keyboard up and I trigger the d key with my arduino the capslock keyboard disappears as opposed to playing a note ? I am using logic pro 9 on mac book pro running osx 10.7.5 thank you very much any help would be greatly appreciated
David Nahmani
Using your arduino in a text editor, when caps lock is engaged, and you press a d, do you actually see a capital d on the screen?
nedhallett2
yes it works fine in word and on typing in the search bar it is also triggering samples in sound plant fine ?
nedhallett2
Sorry dave I actually didn't read your post properly yes it does only print a lower case d , I just altered the arduino to send a capital d but still have the same problem
David Nahmani
I guess what you should do is alter the adruino so it can make a caps lock key, that Logic recognizes the same way it does a caps lock key on a Mac keyboard.
