aphexbeats
How do I turn off velocity on my midi keyboard? It's annoying when I'm doing a pattern on my keyboard and then it decides to change the volume levels - my keyboard isn't even weighted, so it's pointless. Eriksimon
Which one? What does your keyboards' manual say about that? If your keyboard can't, then Logic can; hit cmd-8, go to the Clicks & Ports layer, the rest is here:
CCTMusic
Hi Alternatively, you can use the MIDI Thru Region Parameters box "Dynamics" function to FIX the velocity: the 'velocity' function above can be used to add or subtract from this fixed 'velocity=64' value. This process is per region, and is non-destructive unless you add the extra step of MIDI:Region Parameters:Normalise Region Parameters You could also use the ShiftOption + change the velocity of the note events post recording in the MIDI editors to make them all the same, or apply a Transform.
