So the problem is that my akai mpd18 doesnt play all the notes in EXS24 and ultradrum. It shows the velocity at the bottom, and in the edit window of the exs24 it shows sounds being triggered, but only a few notes play. It wasnt always like this, and my alesis 49 key works fine. Im not sure if it has to do with the 3 banks on the mpd or what, any help appreciated thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
David Nahmani Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 The first thing to determine is what kind of MIDI data your MPD18 is sending, and that's something you can do by looking at the bottom of the Arrange window, in the transport bar, where it says "No in" when inactive. When you press those pads that don't produce sound, what kind of MIDI data do you see there? A controller event? A note? Which one?
