Simon Ho
hi there, i use Logic 9 and sometimes find something strange with it. In today's project I have this software instrument track and recorded some midi notes to it. the mixer's fader of this instrument just automatically drops to a certain low level although I did not make any automation to it. even i've tried to click the fader up to adjust the level, it just does not allow me to do so. baffled and frustrated. I also tried to edit the level's automation in the sequencer but it just remains there. please help. thank you in advance. simon
Rev. Juda Sleaze
Hi, See the pink box with "Forum rules - please READ THIS before posting"? Check out number 5 on the list. I say this because it sounds like a controller issue, but until we know if you have one or not, there's not much point trying to work it out. Simon Ho
thank you for the hint. i do not use any controller. just a Yamaha synthesizer's midi in/out via a MOTU USB MTP AV midi interface. and i found that audio track having he same problem. strangely enough after i've created an adjacent track next to a midi or audio track, the problem of the original track is gone, that it has the same kind of problem passed to the newly created track. Rev. Juda Sleaze
Your Yamaha synth is a midi controller (audio channel faders also respond to midi volume controls). So, this happens on whatever track you currently have selected?
