LPX bypass all inserts on a channel strip?

You're kidding me? With all the extra buttons and divisions they placed all over the inserts and the channel strips they couldn't add ONE to the channel strip that bypasses all inserts? So we still can't do a simple raw/processed comparison on say a vocal channel? The old fashioned way still doesn't allow you to hear a proper comparison between raw/processed! I guess they thought it was more productive adding the instrument "icon" to the strip and not a function that would actually serve a great purpose - a purpose required by many professionals in order to check their processing decisions? Joke.

No offense intended toward you or anyone else on this forum, but...

I know of at least five people who have created this notorious BYPASS ALL INSERTS button, and very few have seemed to embrace it (until it gets incorporated into Logic). Now that Logic has this java script capability .... well that's another ordeal in itself.

I know everyone would rather bitch and complain that Logic sucks because we are all too lazy to connect up a few cables in the environment, but the free downloads are all over this forum for A/B, Insert Bypass, and a few other neat little things that may never get put into Logic the way we want it to be.

I mean, four years of dicking around and this is all they came up with? I agree it is a $200 joke.
