Logic remote and musical typing do not route through environ

Hi guys,

 

Neither the musical typing keyboard nor the logic remote ipad app route through the physical input in the environment thus making it impossible to record note transformations via environment objects 'as you play'. I usually have my environment macros between the physical input and the sequencer input, so I can record the transformations as they happen. This works with a physical USB midi controller but bizarrely not with the controllers that come with Logic? The work around doesnt really work and is un-intuitive. Any ideas and do you think they will add that routing option?

This has been somewhat fixed in 10.0.5. But even though the data is routed through the environment , you cannot see the device listed in the Physical Input object ( at least that's the case with the Musical Typing keyboard). There's no port for it, and its data comes out through the Sum port.
