Loopback query

Is there anyway to set the loopback plug-in to stop recording when I press the record button a second time to set the loop, when the loop is set it continues to record until I press the button a third time, this leaves me with unwanted noise recorded for example fret noise or guitar feedback, no matter how quicky I press it. What I want to do is play instrument, press record to start recording the loop, then press record to set the loop, but stop the recording function at the same time. Thanks in advance

Try pressing Play instead of Record to finalize the loop
