David Nahmani
Couldn't find anything about this in either the Logic Pro 9 or Logic Pro X manuals, but.... When you double-click the MIDI In button in a MIDI editor, you get into this mode where you can select notes and give them a new velocity and pitch by playing keys on your MIDI controller. In LPX this no longer works in the piano roll although it still works in the Score editor and Event List.

marcperi
I found that double clicking Midi In button in Score Editor (changing the midi icon into a Black Connector) let me change pitch and velocity using a midi keyboard and musical typing as well. Doing this on piano roll is not working, even if the black connector symbol appear. Can you confirm this bug in order to send a report?
