mattrixx
Any one else getting this error regularly. It's not happening all the time, but happening often enough to be annoying as it requires a force quite and relaunch of the current project. seems to happen mostly when Logic is still playing and I activate the key command. (naturally, I am using the latest and greatest drivers for all of my kit).
Eric Cardenas
I've not experienced this but there is another report of similar behavior: MIDI timeout - really struggling
mattrixx
Mmmmm , preference removal hasn't worked for me in this instance either. This one's got me. It's almost like the record buffer is interrupting timing when its accessed.
Eric Cardenas
Have you tried a new user account to see if there isn't a conflict?
mattrixx
I haven't tried that one, as I've been snowed under with work today. Will try that when the dust settles. Cheers.
dingdong
I'm having exactly the same problem as Mattrixx. The "Midi Timeout" crash only happens after I use the "Capture Last Take as recording". I tried all the suggestions i've seen so far both here and in the Apple forum ( deleting all midi drivers, deleting all preferences including LP9,.. ), and still have this problem every single time, and have to force quit... Any one knows what to do ??
mattrixx
I have noted that if you leave it for say up to 20minutes it does sort itself out, but hardly ideal! Strangely, mine has been working lately.
ski
I get this behavior when using MIDI Capture recording, however I haven't experienced a crash as a result. It's happened from day 1 of getting Logic X, and before I installed any kinds of 3rd party MIDI drivers, so I'm of the impression that it's a bug in Logic and that the info in the alert that appears is spurious. route-electrique
I don't get that error so often, but when i'm using EWQL Play in combination with 'capture as recording' Logic crashes usually. One time also i got this weird small 'core midi' error popup . Logic Pro X - Capture As Recording crashes
