infernouk
Hey guys I cant get the sample editor to load in my EXS24 having tried removal of preferences and dragging the app into trash and reinstalling, and still having no luck, how can i totally remove it and do a full reinnstall? My macbook running the same installation works fine in the EXS so its some sort of random action that logics decided to break it seems... Thanks for any info as my usual ∂rag and trash didnt really do anything

David Nahmani
yup 10, would something like app zapper work? thats a lot of individual files to hunt down! I have no idea. Not sure if it wouldn't also damage your LP9 install if you have it on the same volume. I usually shy away from those kinds of tools, preferring to do take the time to do all the hunting manually. But in your case I would recommend: 1) Start a new thread asking for help for the specific issue you're having. We may walk you again through some of the same stuff you've already done (trashing preferences...) but who knows, sometimes it's just a little tiny thing that you may have forgotten to do, and you could make it work without reinstalling. 2) Consider wiping the HD and reinstalling the OS and your apps from scratch - of course only a valid recourse if you don't have tons of 3rd party plug-ins and/or 3rd party apps also installed, for example if you were testing LPX on a new fresh volume while keeping your studio machine running the old version like many people do. infernouk
i dont have a logic 9 install, i switched for 10. Im also not going to reformat my hard drive for one broken button. I had another thread but the help didnt resolve the issue and it fell back a few pages. I installed on a laptop with logic 9 and the edit button works fine, its only broken in this fresh install, appzapper only returned the usual preference files as additional content to delete Is there another way into the ßample ediutor window on exs? atleast then i can confirm it even exists
