Sy_Mercade
I was wondering if there was any way to copy only the velocity data of one track over to another. Like, I have a very robotic "all red" track, and I was wondering if I could record a new layer, tap along on velocity-sensitive keyboard with certain parts of the robotic track, and then take the velocity values of those notes and apply them to the robotic track. David Nahmani
The problem is, velocity is not an event, it is an attribute of the note event. So no, you can't select/copy just an attribute, you can only select/copy events. You could however use this... : Control your Samples' Velocity with your Mod Wheel
Sy_Mercade
Hey thanks, I don't think that module is what I'm looking for though, though it might come in handy with other things. I mostly like the somewhat random velocities that come from my keyboard, so getting the velocities in the first place isn't the problem. Was just wondering if it was possible or something. I do remember reading a post that said someone in this forum offered a workaround of a 0-based groove template, or hyper data, but I'm not sure exactly what that even is.
