ski
In this project I have an instrument plugin (Drum Kit), and the output section has three insert FX. When I shift+click on the Instrument plugin, it becomes highlighted as expected. However... When I shift+click on any of the plugins in the Stereo Output channel strip, the highlighting occurs on the Instrument Channel. Strange!
Eric Cardenas
You can only highlight on the first channel strip. It was the same thing in LP9. The only thing that has changed is that you can Shift-click and as you point out it will still not work for the signal flow strip as it will select the corresponding slot in the primary strip. You can create a track for your output if you want to select it's components.
ski
Hey Eric! I'm not comparing behavior between L9 and LX. What seems buggy is that selecting a plugin in the output channel causes a highlight to appear in the adjacent instrument channel.
Eric Cardenas
I understand that. Just wanted to clarify... maybe you thought you were missing some functionality.
Eriksimon
I can confirm that behaviour. Also, (not shown in my screenshots) the Library just keeps showing the instruments' patches. after shiftclicking Retrosynth): after shiftclicking compressor:
Eric Cardenas
This one is Fixed in Logic Pro X 10.1 due to the ability to use the library on both channel strips.
