David Nahmani
Are your plug-ins 32 bits or 64 bits? Only 64 bits plug-ins will open in Logic Pro X. You can try Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio Units Manager.
ronny
Hi They are all 64bit. they all show up in logic 9 (64bit) and work fine. The Au manager wont open from preferences. Thanks .

Jordi Torres
Sorted.. permissions problem on ~ Library folder. So does this mean that the plug-ins that were not showing up in Logic were on the Components in your User Library folder, right? Can you give more details on the actual permissions problem? How were they set for that folder? Thanks in advance. J.
ronny
Hi migration ass' kept stalling with one minute go so had to drag everything manually from old system....that was fun. somewhere along the line something went amiss, don't know what but on a whim i went to ~library > get info and set everthing to read and write > apply to enclosed. and that was it so i don't know which item had wrong permissions. Periodically getting insufficient privileges error 5000 when double tapping play on keyboard to start from last position

Jordi Torres
Oh OK, after re-reading your post I see that Logic didn't see any of you're third party plug-ins, not just some. Therefore it was probably related to the Audio Units cache file since it lives in the user library folder. Thanks for taking the time to tell us more...with screen shots and everything! J.
