It's noting to do with the cpu using , the cpu is from 5 to 8 % used i think it might be a bug in the graphic !!!! Help please if anybody knows the way around? David Nahmani
Weird! Have you tried looking at Activity Monitor (in your Utilities folder) to see what is going on at the time the MB is heating up? Call Apple, you have 90 days free support with your purchase. Or better yet if you can, go to an Apple Store and show them.
Ploki
Nothing particular here on the retina. You might have a software quirk somewhere
skazni
I see at the activity monitor and see there is nothing that using cpu more than 9, 10 % , this is definitely a graphic issue , very intensive on graphic and fans run. Thanks for trying to help guys !!!
tele333
I have the same problem, both kernel_task and LPX use 60% of CPU combined (30% each) - this is with 2 or 3 very small tracks. Is this normal? Any thoughts? As always, thanks in advance.

tele333
UPDATE: I took my MBP to the Apple store, a tech checked everything, reloaded LPX and it still overheats. If anyone resolves this, please keep us posted. Thanks.
