stayfreejc Posted July 31, 2013 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Hi. I'm having issues recording full chords with my Mac keyboard when using it to input midi. Say for example I want to record a piano and play three notes at the same time they dont all play at the same time. This only happens when recording. If I'm not recording then they will play together. Playing one or two notes is fine. Its just three or more. Any ideas? Its driving me nuts! beej Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Unfortunately, the Mac keyboard is not designed as an expressive musical instrument, and there can be issues with holding multiple keys at once - the keyboard chip really wasn't built for this I really would recommend getting at least some kind of inexpensive MIDI/USB keyboard. That said, the musical caps lock queybord in LPX seems a bit more responsive than in previous Logic versions, when I've used it out of desperation...
