ontrackp
I'm looking to buy software for Loudness Metering (TC Electronics LM2, PPMulator XL, etc...) and am interested in any advice from other producers mixing for television who have to deal with network specs compliance. I've used the LM100 extensively but am looking for the best, cost efficient software solution. Thanks. - Steve
dnbhallifax
A solid native alternative to TC... Not cheap, but designed to comply to all the necessary specs and just as useful... http://www.waves.com/plugins/wlm-loudness-meter
ptfigg
I would recommend looking into the Nugen Audio tools: VisLM Loudness Meter ISL True Peak Limiter Also - have a look at TB EBULoudness by ToneBoosters. Very cost efficient. -paul.
ontrackp
Thanks Paul. I've been testing the trial of the NuGen VisLM and it's good - very full featured and customizable. VSonics also makes a low cost alternative, but the Tone Boosters looks like a great deal. I will check that one out.
lagerfeldt
I'm using the VisLM from NuGen Audio, and I can recommend it. Up to date and reliable. Tested in Logic Pro (there are differences with these types of meters that are essential to test in different DAWs because of the way the interpret silence during integrated readings).
