Do I get logic X?

 

I have 9 and just use it for personal recording but I don't want to be left in the dust. Looks like this is the start of a very new logic.

The price is no problem, just don't want to waste 200 is I don't have to.

 

Also will there be an upgrade avail from 9 to X? or will it be 199 for everyone, and if so why do I remember spending 500 to get logic way back when, and now they can just get X for 199?

I dislike ultra beat, don't know what flex pitch is and yes I like the colors.

Sounds to me you don't even looked at all the new features.

Drummer is a new plugin, it's an interactive drummer. Go check it out. Plenty of videos out there.

Flex pitch is like Melodyne, and it's very powerful.

Yes, both L9 and LX will stay on the computer and they are different apps.

Well after about 2-3 hours with it last night I don't like it yet. The drummer that loaded in songwriter was bad ass though and I was jammin with him right away.

 

It's very different for sure.
