drum machine and also strings

ok i was wondering if theres a drum machine for logic that can hold audio drum sounds cuz i really dont like the original drum machine or the sounds within it, i use reason n i prefer that drum machine so i was wondering if there was one for logic pro 7.2 kind of like the redrum. also how do you go about using plugins? ive downloaded a couple but i dont know how to make them visible or how to go about opening them in logic. annnd i was also wondering if there are any good string/orchestral sounds available
