Make Autoload location default for saving?

Whenvever I tweak my autoload and do a save, the save dialogue always specifies some Logic folder but not my Song Templates folder. So I have to go and look for it. How can I make the Song Templates folder the default location in the save dialogue? It used to work all the time until a few months ago. Don't know what changed.

Just do a "Save As Template" and it'll probably be in the right place.

Yes and you need to do this every time you make changes to your Autoload.

Or, when you want to change your autoload, use File > Open, navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Logic/Song Templates/Autoload.lso, and open it that way in Logic. Then do your changes and simply save (Command-S). No need to worry about location anymore.

 

Or, as was suggested, File > Save as Template and replace.
