getting the drum pattern off ultrabeat and onto the sequence

i ve made a drum pattern in ultrabeat but i want it to show on the sequencer so i can cut odd parts out and not have it playing all the way through, how do i go about doing this?

Drag the button at the bottom left of Ultrabeat GUI (right next to where it says "pattern") to the Ultrabeat arrange track:

This is a really great feature but I'm having trouble getting it to work correctly. Why is it when I drag the pattern into the arrange window it doesn't fit tempo-wise? Shouldn't it be automatically be sized to 2 or 4 bars? When I do it comes out to like 2 and a half bars and I have to change tempo which screws everything else up.

 

Any ideas?

Naturally as soon as I post my question I figured it out... the Ultrabeat pattern was a different time signature than the song.
