joshuarule
I feel this is going to be one of my favorite records of the year. This album reminds me of when the cardigans did gran turismo. The mixes and songs are great. I am sure many of the Blonde Redhead fans will believe they have turned too far in the pop direction...but I think they do it wonderfully. It was a pleasant surprise. I would suggest you check out some of their tracks from this record if you haven't. Mixed by Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Killers, Nine Inch Nails) and Rich Costey (Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Bloc Party). I am curious as too how much influence they had on the mixes...or exactly what was on tape before reaching their hands. anyone else dig this record...or are turned off by it? edit- oops I posted in the wrong forum...please move to the lounge...don't think I can move it myself
