8 bit

I just started getting a error i record say some vocals, i then save, then when i go back to open , sometimes i get a message saying coreaudio cannot playback file was recorded at 8 bit.

It will only do it to just maybe 1 or 2 small audio takes per song.Anybody experience something like this?

Yes, that use to be a pretty big bug, but I haven't heard anyone having that problem in a while. What version of Logic are you running, and what type of audio files (Aiff, Wav, Sdii?)

aww David i guess its a aiff cause it usually vocals parts as i do punchins, it only happens when recording vocals, ans im using version 7.0 cause i know that someone mentioned upgrading to at least 7.2 for a feature i wanted to use.

Its just wierd cause it just started happening more and more

You might want to search for older posts on this topic, but there's not much you can do aside from looking for the files in your backups or maybe trying to convert or resave the file with a 3rd party audio editing software.
