Export audio to movie: audio unchanged! [SOLVED]

I have tried what I thought was going to be a simple procedure.

I have a 5 minute quicktime movie (.mov) file. I imported it, with audio into Logic Pro X. All I wanted to do was tweak the audio. I added short fades at the beginning and end of the track. Then I ran it through some EQ to clean it up and reduce noise (outdoor music show). Then I exported it (export audio to movie). Worked like a charm. . . except there was absolutely no change to the audio! No fades, no EQ. The audio sounded exactly as it did on the original movie. I tried adding extremely long fades to the clip, just in case my changes were too "subtle" for my ear. Nope. No fade at all in the exported file. Searched the online help for clues, but found none. Is this just a non-working bug, or is there some arcane bit of documentation I've missed?

At least in Logic 9, it will automatically disable the original video file's audio track unless you specifically choose to keep it. I'm thinking perhaps when you exported the video you accidentally selected to keep the original audio track in there, in lieu of the audio that you edited? LPX may behave differently but I have done this before by mistake! You should be able to see/disable the original audio up in the global parameters area above the arrange area.

Thank you. You were both right. I was inadvertently re-exporting the original audio. Cody, I don't see the audio in the global parameters area (if by that you mean what LPX calls the Global Tracks area). But "deselecting" the original audio track per Jordi did the trick. Once I understood what the UI was telling me, it really did take only 5 minutes to do.

Thanks again!
