johnjay
Hey all, I have a couple of .aif files that I dragged out of ableton onto my desktop. I open up logic, create a bunch of audio channels and try assigning those .aif files into the channel strip in logic. Everything works and transfers properly, but when I try transferring drum hits (kicks, snares, loops) from ableton (.aif files) into logic, I get the error, "The file '(the file)' is not recognized by Logic Pro X... Please ensure that the file properties are correct and that it is a supported file type." Again when I transfer for example my sub phatty audio, it works. When I try transferring a Kick, it doesn't. Any ideas? Thanks
triplets
Some of those files are probably 32-bit float, which Logic does not play. Try to add them thru the audio bin or whatever the new name is. Then Logic will convert them to 24-bit.
