Lonvc1
Hi all I have just moved from logic 9. To access the tool menu in Logic 9 we could press escape and a number would select the tool. However when I press esc to bring the menu up there is no number option. Is there a way to set this up or is that not a possibility on logic pro X? Thanks
Jordi Torres
Plenty of key commands have changed in Logic Pro X. You can open the key commands window and learn them, or export your Logic 9 key commands to Macintosh HD/Users/your username/Library/Application Support/Logic/Key Commands/. The next time you open Logic X it should ask you if you want to continue using the old Logic 9 commands or move on with the new Logic X commands. J. Lonvc1
Thanks Jordi. I checked out the key commands as per your advice. Is there any benefit to sticking to the old key commands? I notice that since LPX was originally released many key commands have already been changed.
Jordi Torres
If you already have a workflow based on quite a few key commands, it may be tough to get them "out of your system" and learn new ones. If you only use a few of them, then it shouldn't matter much. J.
Lonvc1
Thanks J. Will probably learn the new ones as I don't know that many.
