fisherking
last night i worked late on a mix. when i was happy (enough), i deleted unused vocal files, and their tracks. then i went into Project Management and "cleaned up"; thought this would delete unused files. this morning, i open the project and ALL of the audio is gone; i checked the package: nothing. (fortunately, i could restore the files from backup). but pretty scary... what is the best way to truly delete unused audio? in the browser? what's the point of 'clean up'? fwiw, logic's been bitchy all day. scrolling issues (fixed with a reboot); weird track stack issues...some other stuff. maybe a sign to stop working and drink heavily instead??? am back to work tonite. will reboot first (AFTER backing up)... 8)
triplets
I use clean up project a lot, but… I don't use LX. I save after I deleted unused files. Then go to clean up. At least that way I have a version in the backups folder
