slinger7
Hi all, Have read through every single topic on the internet for this issue and it would seem there isn't a fix. I'm here to seek for answers! Essentially I have a couple of projects that upon playback / bounce seem to lose certain audio tracks at certain points on the timeline. It's always the same spot and always the same regions. This is what i've tried: - Freezing tracks. - Deleting fades. - Selective import into new project with/without buses, master, io, automation, content plugins. - Removed all 3rd party plugins from components folder. - Tried system audio. - Tried multiple sound cards. - Tried multiple computers. - Bypassed all audio units including apple built ins. - Removed IO from each channel. - Tried different OS. Happens on Maverick, Lion, Snow Leopard machines. - Tried the project on Logic X (same problem occurs). - Bounced in place on each track. Still happens. Few Notes: - Spec for both machines is very high - certain it's not CPU or RAM or HDD overload. - Tried Apogee Duet Firewire, One and Two. - The projects in question have 100+ tracks. I'd appreciate any other thoughts from the community! I'm sure there are others out there that have had this problem in the past. T
Eriksimon
Please click this link to your signature and add your system information: • Logic version and sub-version (e.g. Logic 10.0.3) • OS X version and sub-version (e.g. OS 10.8.4) • Computer (e.g. MacBook, Mac Pro, iMac) • Processor (e.g. 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) • Memory (e.g. 2GB) • Audio interface manufacturer and model (e.g. Presonus AudioBox USB) (most of that information can be found by choosing Logic Pro X > About Logic Pro X, and > About This Mac) --- Odd, you seem to have done all sorts of things, except investigating the most likely cause: the tracks themselves. How about making a troubleshoot-copy of the project and delete all tracks from that that are NOT problematic? Then you may want to look at what sort of events happen at those cut-out points, and perhaps edit or repair them. If you can't find any obvious causes (automation events of some/any kind), then those track may just have become corrupted. The best "treatment" is to create new tracks for any of the "broken" ones, move over the content (fx plugins, soft Instruments, regions) and then delete the now empty broken track(s).
